Ahhhh…this week was filled with highs and lows – warm temps, frigid temps, inspiring lunches with friends and not seeing Nathan, basically, at all. Here’s what caught my eye this week!

Clothing company uses female PhDs as models! Rock on!

This meditation on finding the extraordinary in the ordinary seems fitting for everyone (not just parents). I’ve been thinking a lot about the liturgy of daily life – the sacredness of chores and daily walks and everyday occurrences.

I have a dream to live abroad again one day and I thought this mother’s perspective on Paris was a very interesting response to all the “French people are soooo much better than Americans” stories.

I love David Sedaris (we both grew up on Raleigh!) and it warmed my heart to know he hates overhead lighting as much as I do. Sadly, Nathan uses overhead lights and it drives.me.crazy.

We’re hosting a dinner party this weekend and making this lemon pie. I can’t wait!

Bonus: the new Avett Brothers video makes me miss North Carolina so much.

Oh my gosh, I saw that lemon pie earlier this week and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Love the PhD models, the sacredness of ordinary life, the Frenchies, candlelight, lemon pie, and You!
